My Name is Caroline K. Labalen. I now am a writer after or should I say, along with being a Dental surgeon since 1986… no, I will say after. I am now done being a Dentist. I always say thirty-four years of anything is too much, which is not true either, if you love it. I guess I  started saying it when I stopped being in love with my profession. 

I was trained in France as a general practitioner and then in the US in surgical specialties. I had one goal and one only, to be the best. Not the best I could, the best. Maybe that was a bit too much, so it kept me busy, busy, believe me. I practiced in Europe and East Africa and worked in my profession in Indonesia also. I know the guts of dentistry better than my own. What has always kept me going was helping others through being the best. That was my bottom line and still is.

This is who I am. For the next forty years, I will pour my essence into helping others in any and every way I can. 

I calculate that as long as more than twenty thousand people read the books we publish we will already be helping more Patients than I did practicing for thirty plus years. This is my way of making the whole deal of who I came to be exponentially sustainable.
